कृष्णा नदी के दक्षिणी तट पर एक मंदिर है, जिसके लिए श्रीशैलम शहर जाना जाता है। मल्लिकार्जुन स्वामी मंदिर शहर का सबसे प्रसिद्ध मंदिर है और इसकी जड़ें 6 शताब्दियों के इतिहास में पाई जाती हैं, जब इसे विजयनगर के राजा हरिहर राय ने बनवाया था। ऐसा माना जाता है कि जब कार्तिकेय भगवान गणेश से प्रतियोगिता हार गए, तो कार्तिकेय इस बात से परेशान होकर संकट के पहाड़ पर चले गए। जब भगवान शिव पार्वती उन्हें मनाने आए तो वे भी वहां से भाग गए। हालाँकि शिव, अर्जुन और पार्वती ने अपना नाम बदल कर उनके साथ श्रीशैलम में रहना शुरू कर दिया। शिव ने अपना नाम बदलकर अर्जुन कर लिया, फिर पार्वती ने अपना नाम बदलकर मल्लिका कर लिया, इस प्रकार मंदिर का नाम मल्लिकार्जुन रखा गया।


नागार्जुनसागर श्रीशैलम टाइगर रिजर्व:-
इस टाइगर रिजर्व का कुल क्षेत्रफल 3568 एकड़ है, जो इसे भारत के सबसे बड़े टाइगर रिजर्व में से एक बनाता है। श्रीशैलम बांध और नागार्जुनसागर बांध भी इसी स्थान पर स्थित हैं। पर्यटकों को रोजाना सुबह 7 बजे से शाम 5 बजे तक जंगल में जाने की अनुमति है। आप लगभग 800 रुपये में रोजाना सुबह 7 बजे से शाम 4 बजे तक 6 लोगों के लिए डेढ़ घंटे की जीप की सवारी का अनुभव कर सकते हैं। बाघों के अलावा, तेंदुए, सुस्त भालू, ढोल, भारतीय पैंगोलिन, चीतल, सांभर हिरण, शेवरोटेन भी देखे जा सकते हैं। , काला हिरण, चिंकारा और चौसिंघा। रिजर्व में जाने का सबसे अच्छा समय जून से अक्टूबर के महीनों के बीच है।

You achieve a goal—the satisfaction is brief, then you need another goal to feel purposeful.

Nothing pleasurable is permanent. Everything you enjoy will eventually end or change. This impermanence creates a subtle undercurrent of unsatisfactoriness even in good times because you know it won't last and you fear losing it.

The three types of dukkha clarify this further. First, there's the suffering of suffering (dukkha-dukkha)—obvious physical and mental pain. Second, there's the suffering of change (viparinama-dukkha)—the unsatisfactoriness that comes from pleasant experiences ending or changing. Third, there's the suffering of conditioned existence (sankhara-dukkha)—the fundamental unsatisfactoriness of being attached to anything in a world where everything is impermanent and constantly changing.

No pleasure in samsara is permanent. No peace is lasting. No relationship endures forever. And underlying all of it is the ever-present potential for suffering — for illness, loss, death, and rebirth in less fortunate circumstances.

The Jain path is a way out of this endless, exhausting cycle. And the exit is Moksha.
